4 per cent of men and 2 per cent of women between the ages of 30 and 60 have obstructive sleep apnea.
The most common symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea are:

  • Repeadly stop breathing for 10 to 15 seconds or longer during sleep.
  • Usualy snore loudly.
  • Very tired during the day.
  • Difficulty concentrating, poor memory.
  • Irritability or personality change.
  • Sleep apnea can affect children and adults.
